Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
This policy explains what Sauntle collects, why, and your choices. Plain language, no dark patterns.
Who we are
Sauntle is an independent movement-analysis project, reachable at gaitai.athle@gmail.com. This policy covers the Sauntle website and app at sauntle.com.
What we collect and why
- Videos you upload or record. Your clip is processed to run the analysis and then deleted from the server immediately afterward. We do not keep your video, and it is never used to train anything.
- Account information (optional). If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password so we can save your analysis results and show your history. You can use Sauntle as a guest without an account.
- Saved results (for signed-in users). The numeric results and findings from your analyses are stored to your account so you can revisit them. No video is stored.
- Essential cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is required for accounts to work and is not used for advertising.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from IP, and general usage patterns). Google sets its own cookies and processes this data as described in Google's privacy policy.
- Server logs. Like most sites, our host records standard technical data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.
Third parties
- Google — web fonts, and Google Analytics (usage measurement).
- YouTube (Google) — exercise videos are embedded from YouTube. When you play one, YouTube may set cookies under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — DNS and network security in front of the site.
- Hosting provider — runs the server that processes analyses.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
Uploaded videos are deleted right after analysis. Account data and saved results are kept until you ask us to delete them or delete your account. To request deletion, email gaitai.athle@gmail.com.
Your choices and rights
- Use Sauntle as a guest, without creating an account.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your account data by email.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Children
Sauntle is not directed to children and is intended for a general adult audience.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Questions? Email gaitai.athle@gmail.com.
